The enterprise of the Chernivtsi Oil and Fat Plant has 15.3574 hectares of land and an operational production line for the production of sunflower and soybean oil and meal. The area of the existing enterprise includes free territories suitable for the construction of new production areas. The calculated capacity of existing engineering networks allows expanding the production of the enterprise without additional significant capital investments.
The construction of the plant complex is planned to be implemented in 2 stages:
1st stage of construction – Weighing scales for vehicles, elevator for the storage of sunflower and soybean seeds, Cleaning and winnowing department, and oil-pressing department, Soybean preparation department with a capacity of 800 tons/day, soybean oil extraction plant with a capacity of 800 tons/day, sunflower oil extraction plant with a capacity of 1200 tons/day, hexane storage, elevator for storing sunflower and soybean meal, meal granulation department, oil storage (including pumping station).
At the first stage of construction on the site to ensure the full operation of the plant, in accordance with the technological needs of this type of production, the following buildings and structures should be constructed:
Weighing scales for vehicles to be reconstructed (No. 1.1 on the master plan) – located in the southeast part of the site, near the freight entrance and exit.
The elevator for storing sunflower and soybean seeds includes a car receiving unit, a railway receiving unit, a working tower with an elevator cleaning system, and silos for seeds.
The cleaning and winnowing department, and oil-pressing department (No.3 on the master plan) are located at the southern border of the territory.
The soybean preparation department with a capacity of 800 tons/day (No.4 on the master plan) is located near the seed silos of the first construction phase and the meal granulation department in the central part of the site.
The soybean oil extraction plant with a capacity of 800 tons/day is located in the southern part of the territory.
The sunflower oil extraction plant with a capacity of 1200 tons/day is located in the southern part of the territory.
The hexane storage is planned to be located near the extraction department in the southern part of the site.
The elevator for storing sunflower and soybean meal (No.7 on the master plan) is situated in the eastern part of the enterprise’s territory.
The meal granulation department, oil storage (including a pumping station) (No.8 on the master plan) is located in the eastern part of the enterprise.
The existing fire reservoir (250m3) is situated in the central part of the site.
The rainwater treatment facilities, pumping station, and industrial wastewater treatment facilities are located in the eastern part.
The railway entrances and exits are located in the northern part of the territory.
Within the plant’s territory, a power substation is planned, located near the freight entrance.
The operating mode of the main production and technologically related auxiliary productions is continuous.
2nd stage of construction – Soybean preparation department with a capacity of 800 tons/day, soybean oil extraction plant with a capacity of 800 tons/day, sunflower oil extraction plant with a capacity of 1200 tons/day, oil storage (including a pumping station), unloading device for transport, elevator for storing sunflower and soybean seeds, elevator for storing sunflower and soybean meal.
